Pim, if pass by Zurich once (as you seem to travel a lot), let me know and I could give you some guidance finding interesting restaurants. Naturally you could also visit us at home (me, my wife and our two kids) and let us discover Thai food;)

So Pim and I recently went through some of your recipes and I was kindly asked to translate words like Seeteufel (ocean devil), Petersilie (Peter’s lie) and Walnuesse (wale's nuts).

As I am currently in Germany... any recommendations or hints to help us in finding a nice and colorful cookbook on German - or should I rather ask for Swiss - recipes? In English, of course.

And if you and your family should come to SF one day we could jointly prepare a nice Swiss dish or wir könnten ein paar saftige T-Bone steaks grillieren.

I might just make it to Zurich sooner than you think. I have two dear friends there whome I have been meaning to visit. So perhaps I shall take you up on your generous offer. :-)

I guess you made literal translations for fun. Anyway, if you were also looking for the real translation, here is what you probably were looking for:

Seeteufel = monkfish, lotte
Petersilie = Parsley
Walnüsse = Walnuts
